15 - The cafe aux sapins

At 19bis rue Paul Bert, the Café des Sapins was one of the village's most important meeting places and hubs of activity.

Built in the 1850s or 1860s, it belonged for many years to the Derey family. From 1920 to 1930, it served as an office for collecting wine excise duties.
