18 - 5 rue Paul Bert – The little Bonbis museum
Built in 1818 by a prominent winegrower from Chenôve, this beautiful residence has the appearance of a manor house.
- Symmetrical layout centered on the entrance
- Horseshoe-shaped staircase
- Paved courtyard
- Monumental entrance with a monolithic lintel
- Stone benches at the entrance
- Well and washhouse
- Interconnected cellars running beneath the entire building
In 1993, the former stables (left side of the courtyard) were sold to the city to create the House of Sustainable Development. Currently, the Little Bonbis Museum is located there, featuring a reconstruction of a school from bygone days.
